About the Senior Business Development Executive (Law firm) Role:
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic business development support across all practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of pitches and proposals, working in partnership with partners and legal teams to develop pitch strategies and approaches
• Develop compelling key selling messages for the practice, ensuring consistent deployment in pitches and submissions
• Oversee the updating and maintenance of pitch support materials for the practice group, including credentials, pitch templates, and CVs
• Support the practice groups in developing and implementing their strategic business development plans
• Organise and participate in regular practice group meetings, providing updates on key business development activities and offering guidance to partners and associates on future initiatives
• Collaborate with regional and global business development teams to implement relevant aspects of sector and client-focused initiatives
• Drive other business development projects within the firm as required, working closely with the wider regional and global business development teams
• Support the practice groups in developing and implementing their strategic business development plans
• Organise and participate in regular practice group meetings, providing updates on key business development activities and offering guidance to partners and associates on future initiatives
• Collaborate with regional and global business development teams to implement relevant aspects of sector and client-focused initiatives
• Drive other business development projects within the firm as required, working closely with the wider regional and global business development teams
• Assist in preparing legal directory and award submissions for the firm practice groups as required, acting as a contact point for directory researchers
• Ensure appropriate use of the brand and visual identity, including joint law firm branding, in all external materials
• Collaborate with lawyers on articles for external publications and content for client materials, such as e-bulletins, seminars, and legal briefings
• Manage the firm's website and social media platforms, including routine updates and sharing topical/thought leadership content

To succeed in this Senior Business Development Executive (Law firm) role, you will need to have prior experience in business development in a law firm or consulting firm.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or masters' degree from a reputable university
• Minimum of four years' relevant professional experience
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a broader team
• Confidence in dealing with partners and senior stakeholders
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong prioritisation and workload management abilities, especially under pressure
• Experience in managing a team
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent service delivery skills and a high level of responsiveness
• Experience in using client relationship management (CRM) tools, preferably InterAction
• Background in a law firm or professional services firm is a plus point
