About the Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding) Role:
As the Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding), you will develop the company's sea and air freight business's end-to-end service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be proactive in pursuing new business through strong pipeline, ensuring prospects are identified and qualified
• Achieve and exceed GP and Volume growth in line with sales targets/KPIs
• Focus on strong client engagement through high level of services and trusted relationship to drive sustainable business growth and profitability
• Develop and execute business expansion plan with key stakeholders to improve sales conversion ratio
• Active participation to local RFQ, collaborate with both products and pricing team for timely submission
• Be responsible for all business-related matters pertaining to new business implementation, scope of agreement, business improvements and ongoing service performance
• Well planned and organised daily sales activities/pipeline through CRM tool
• Be responsible for credit control should any needs arise
• Timely submission of reports
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

To succeed in this Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding) role, you need to be able to take charge of the development of new market/clients (Individual Contributor)

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of six year's experience with all aspects of freight forwarding (Sea/Air)
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Logistics Management
• Experience with key account management is required
• Strong leadership skills and focused on customer and stakeholder relationships
• Strong time management and negotiation skills
• Ability to converse fluently in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
• Proven analytic and problem-solving skills
• Based in Jakarta and willing to travel if needed
