About the Business Development Manager (Chemicals) Role:
This business development manager (chemicals) role will have you handle a broad and versatile spectrum of tasks with flexibly needed to adapt to current requirements in the company and the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, individually drive, or support projects of BLs, divisions, region, or group
• Identify new business opportunities via desktop research and customer approach (aligned with BL)
• Act as sales representative or coordinator for Businesses with subcritical local presence
• Help launch products into new markets or specific local applications
• Initiate, facilitate and support cross-BL/Division cross-functional activities
• Support regional management (including BLs/Functions) to develop and implement regional growth agendas
• Monitor macroeconomic and market trends, competitive landscape and socio-political environment
• Maintain a strategic growth roadmap for the company in Indonesia, in alignment with local and regional management and BLs
• Search and identify potential M&A targets based on profound insights of local market dynamics
• Support advocacy approach, help build-up and maintain the company's network with strategic stakeholders
• Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders in Cluster and Region, inside and outside of the company
• Ensure alignment with businesses and functions to prioritise resources and maximise impact
• Actively share knowledge and best practices locally, regionally, and globally

To be successful in the Business Development Manager (Chemicals) role, you will need to be smart, agile and sales driven, with an extensive experience and proven track record of sales in the chemicals industry.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, preferably Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.5
• Experienced professional (>5 years of relevant work experience)
• Work experience in sales, marketing, account management, strategic development and/or business development required, preferably in the chemicals industry
• High degree of self motivation, initiative and drive
• Excellent communication skills in diverse, international and intercultural environment
• Excellent team player with an engaging and amiable personality
• Experience in doing data analysis, and presentation is advantageous
• Fluency in spoken English and Bahasa
