As the Key Account Manager for Education based in Surabaya, you will be instrumental in driving business performance by achieving or exceeding revenue targets in assigned key accounts within Indonesia. This role is pivotal in establishing strategic partnerships with key accounts, leveraging product and service solutions to meet educational outcomes.

What you'll do:

As a Key Account Manager for Education (Surabaya), your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for driving sales revenue by establishing strategic partnerships with key accounts. Your ability to determine sales priorities & strategies will be crucial as you develop business plans for their implementation. You will identify and build strategic relationships with key University stakeholders, ensuring awareness of our client's products and services to help grow institutional sales. Your role will also involve conducting group and individual product/technology presentations, working closely with instructors to match products to their programs, thereby driving adoption sales. You will also be tasked with developing new accounts and new revenue streams through active prospecting in your assigned territory.

  • Driving sales revenue by establishing strategic partnerships with key accounts
  • Determining sales priorities & strategies and developing business plans for implementation
  • Identifying and building strategic relationships with key University stakeholders
  • Conducting group and individual product/technology presentations
  • Working with instructors to match products to their program to drive adoption sales
  • Developing new accounts and new revenue streams through active prospecting in assigned territory
  • Meeting or exceeding KPIs and financial measurements set by the company
  • Working in concert with the operations team to ensure effective support for customers

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Key Account Manager position brings a wealth of experience and skills to the table. With a Bachelor's degree under your belt, you have spent 5-8 years successfully working with channel partners, bookstores, sales or related customer-facing roles in higher education or a related field. Your experience interfacing with executive management has equipped you with the ability to conduct high-level sales meetings with Deans, Vice-Chancellors and other similar executive levels. Your excellent negotiation skills will be put to good use in this role, as will your high level of experience in solution selling and digital products. You are a strong networker, familiar with social media selling & prospecting. Fluency in the local language and intermediate level English language communication skills are essential for this role. Experience with SalesForce and Tableau would be advantageous.
