About the Key Account Manager (Consumer Electronics) Role:
Reporting to the Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing large key accounts, which includes developing and implementing framework consistent with the key account’s mission.
- Lead on being the key account manager for the client/stakeholders
- Establish strong relationships and cadence with key contacts in the client’s organisation, and maintain strong governance
- Develop trust from the client to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions to meet their objectives
- Identify and gain new opportunities for growth and innovation within the key account from various channels in consumer electronics sector, including offline, digital, B2B, and channel transformations from online to offline and offline to online
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and ensure the expectations are managed
- Ensure the correct products, propositions and service are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Serve as the link of communication between customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customer and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecast to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
- Manage sales and service teams to deliver profitable growth as per the company’s plan
- Keep up to date on market trends and introduce appropriate actions
To succeed in this role, you must be proactive in identifying opportunities, adaptable, customer-centric, and be effective in communicating with all stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a reputable university or BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
- Five or more years' experience as an Account Manager providing solutions based on customer needs
- Vast experience and deep knowledge of the consumer electronics modern market. Experience in online or offline to online market is an advantage.
- Background in the general insurance industry is an advantage
- Proven experience in managing large/complex key accounts with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to use data to drive and influence decisions, leverage bolttech data science capabilities to improve sales performance or recommend changes in strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to understand the customer needs, root cause of problems and explain ideas to effectively negotiate and manage customer expectations
- Good analytical skills to identify and evaluate customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for growth
- Knowledge of the company's products, services, and industry, as well as an understanding of the customer's business and market
- Good sense of P&L/pricing/client’s commercial needs and data-driven
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and able to work effectively and co-operatively with internal stakeholders and other cross-border collaboration
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellence in English verbal and written
- Based in Jakarta and able to travel as needed to meet with key clients or events
