A Head of Sales job has just become available in a European automotive MNC. You are responsible to lead the Part Sales team in the defined market(s) in accordance with national law, the partnership agreements and the overall objectives of the company.
About the Head of Sales Role:
You are responsible to lead, develop and execute sales strategies in order to reach optimal market shares. You also need to implement a cost optimised, powerful and customer oriented sales organisation.
- To develop and implement a sales strategy in the defined market(s) for all Automotive products in line with overall strategy
- To identify market potentials and ensure the growth of business through various sales channels
- To implement the right distribution channels for all products and brands
- To intensify and realise customer relationship management in order to achieve a high market penetration
- Responsible for business continuity, operational sustainability and continuous improvement for revenue and gains
- Assure customer care and support through the subordinated sales employees for all products and proposal of respective changes to superior if required
- To assure a proper sales and P/L planning for all product segments, adequate market pricing and ROI for the market(s)
- To ensure all sales activities do comply with Compliance and Code of Conduct in accordance with Group Directives
- Provide guidance and advice to subordinates if necessary
To succeed in this role, you shoud have at least five years' professional experience in the related field and at least one year of professional experience in the related industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Sales, Business or Engineering
- Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Independent, result oriented with strong business development sense
- Ability to manage a team and provide leadership
- Willing to travel overseas when required
- Fluent English
