Senior Planning & Logistics Manager (FMCG)

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning and Logistics Manager to join their team in Jakarta. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate activities for Planning, Inventory Analysis, Business Continuity Plan, Transportation and Logistics. As a key strategic interface to Operating Unit/Bottler/Plant Functions and Supply Chain Services, you will ensure continuity of beverage base supply. What you'll do:

As a Senior Planning & Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's business. You will lead planning processes, manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, oversee warehousing operations, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your expertise in supply chain management will be instrumental in achieving business plan targets and ensuring continuity of supply. • Lead the Planning processes to guarantee timely supply of products to customers.
• Responsible for all inbound activities such as import, customs clearance and transportation.
• Ensure export activities, including shipping of finished goods to the bottling plants happens On Time and In Full all the time.
• Manage the logistics activities related to warehousing especially those related to receiving, warehousing, shipping, production requirements and inventory control.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with the Operating Unit and Bottler.
• Set the Business Plan targets of the plant and track, measure and analyze the plant KPIs for PL&CR.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Planning & Logistics Manager position brings a wealth of experience in supply chain management within manufacturing operations. With a degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration, you have spent over a decade honing your skills in operational leadership roles within food, pharmaceutical or chemical industries. Your familiarity with SAP, MRPII or ERP systems will be advantageous in this role. An APICs or equivalent certification is preferred but not essential. Your experience with quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, OHSAS 18001 will be highly valued. Your knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution Management coupled with a strong customer focus will set you apart.

• University Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain and operational leadership role in manufacturing operations in food, pharmaceutical or chemical industries.
• Experience with SAP, MRPII or ERP would be considered an advantage.
• APICs or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with Quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, OHSAS 18001).
• Knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution Management.
• Strong Customer Focus.
