Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager to join their team in Cikupa. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of safety, health and environmental strategies across multiple manufacturing sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, conducting risk assessments, implementing safety training programmes, and promoting healthy behaviours among employees. What you'll do:

As an HSE Manager, you will play a pivotal role in setting overall safety goals and strategies that align with our client's objectives. You will develop, review, and update safety policies in line with regulations and industry standards. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive risk assessments, devising emergency response plans, carrying out regular safety patrols, audits, as well as planning and managing safety training sessions for both employees and vendors. You will also be responsible for reviewing accident reports, determining corrective actions where necessary, monitoring the effectiveness of the safety programme, making recommendations for improvements.

  • Set overall safety goals & strategies, coordinate & align the implementation across the Plants to align company objectives.
  • Develop, review and update safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk & hazard assessments, emergency response plans, safety patrol and safety audit.
  • Plan, manage and conduct safety trainings & briefing to employees and vendors to prevent accidents.
  • Review and verify workplace accidents and incidents report investigations to determine corrective actions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the safety program and make recommendations to management, executives and individual employees for ways to improve safety.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this HSE Manager position brings a wealth of experience in developing and implementing HSE basics and infrastructure. The candidate has a proven track record of managing HSE regulations and standards across multisite manufacturing environments. The background includes working within a manufacturing chemical company dealing with flammable & explosive materials on a 24/7 or shift work schedule. Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, able to communicate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Experience in developing & implementing HSE basic & infrastructure.
  • Experience in managing and handling HSE regulations and standards.
  • Experience handling HSE in multisite manufacturing (min 2 sites) for 2 years.
  • Manufacturing chemical company experience with flammable & explosive material & 24/7 or shift work schedule.
