A leading non-food manufacturing firm is recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager job for their team in Jakarta. In this job, you will oversee and optimise the end-to-end supply chain process within the organisation.
About the Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing) Role: Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for optimising the supply chain to meet business objectives, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive overall operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures the efficient and economical utilisation of facilities for storing and distributing raw material and finished goods inventories
Analyses the physical distribution system to ascertain whether it is functioning according to the needs and objectives of the company and coordinates the design and implementation of surveys, revised procedures, and facility changes
Controls inventory of raw materials and work-in-process
Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules
Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements
Plans, schedules, and routes inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments of freight, using knowledge of postal regulations, tariffs, and company policy
To succeed in this Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing) role, you must have extensive knowledge in scheduling and planning, budgeting and implementing operation improvement strategies for safety, cost, quality, training, inventory and services.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Minimum of 10 years' operational experience with team leader experience
Experience in managing big number of SKUs
Skilled in analysing and drawing information for daily operational needs and improvement for the team
Experience leading continuous improvement efforts. Familiarity with ELS Operating Principles
