Supply Chain and Procurement Manager (Pharmaceuticals)

A rapidly expanding vitro diagnostics company is seeking a talented Supply Chain and Procurement Manager in Indonesia. This newly created job is responsible for the strategy and execution of the operations in procurement, inventory and logistics company-wide.

About the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager will play a key role in the firm's continued development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle purchasing, logistics, warehouses, transportation/shipment, and inventory objectives
• Handle procurement of direct materials, raw materials such as biological, chemical, packaging and consumables
• Handle procurement of indirect material to meet the factory construction needs
• Set up purchasing procedures and standard operating procedures
• Formulate and maintain the entire process of distribution, from ordering to receiving, preparation to delivery
• Work closely with production and operations departments in planning activities to deliver products on time
• Work on shipping logistics and documentation to assure accurate shipping records are in full compliance with both international and domestic transportation regulations
• Handle any other duties assigned by management

To succeed in this Supply Chain and Procurement Manager (Pharma and Healthcare only) role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain/engineering or a relevant field.

Key Requirements:

• Preferably more than six years of work experience in a managerial position in supply chain and procurement in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong communication skills in order to negotiate, lead and persuade internal/external stakeholders
• Experience with enterprise resource planning process
• Strong leadership qualities
