Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for strategic planning, supplier management, contract negotiation, and ensuring that the organisation obtains goods and services at the best possible price and quality
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on criteria such as cost, quality, reliability, and ethical considerations
• Analyse purchasing processes to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Oversee inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise excess or obsolete inventory
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process

To succeed in this GM Purchasing (Textile) role, you must have strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
• Industry exposure in Textile or Chemicals will be preferred
• English proficiency is a must
