A world-leading chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent (Chemical Manufacturing) in Indonesia. In this job, you will be responsible for leading the business in its next phase of growth.
About the Maintenance Superintendent (Chemical Manufacturing) Role:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of engineers and ensuring key maintenance projects and engineering duties are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead engineers for maintenance activities from planning to implementation in effective and efficient way
- Lead the maintenance projects, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for troubleshooting, innovation, and optimisation
- Oversee and maintain the equipment and facilities of the plant
- Ensure system implementation is aligned with company regulation
- Control budget and relationships with contractors and service provider
To succeed in this Maintenance Superintendent (Chemical Manufacturing) role, you must have the ability to manage team with senior members.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Process/Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years experience in maintenance and project, with two years at a managerial level
- Knowledge in local government safety regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia
