A rapidly expanding food manufacturing company is seeking a talented Head of Product Innovation (Savoury) in Jakarta to take on a newly created role. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all R&D-related functions.
About the Head of Product Innovation (Savoury) Role:
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the innovation process and defines strategies, design and roadmap of the products, by ensuring it can compete successfully in a highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- New product development and innovation projects
- Determine the right design concept and technology for the new products or upgrades on existing products
- Develop pricing and strategies to maximise total customer value and overall revenue for product lines
- Ensure all product innovation comply with company requirements
- Provide coaching, demonstrate leadership to the team
The successful Head of Product Innovation (Savoury) will be detailed, results-oriented, entrepreneurial and data driven.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in food technology/chemistry or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in related fields
- Experience in food is a must; savoury is preferred
- Knowledgeable in project management, quality management system, HACCP, ISO, GMP, FSSC and sanitation 7 hygiene
