A rapidly expanding medical devices manufacturer is recruiting for a newly created Assistant Export and Import Manager job in Indonesia. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all production targets in the production line.

About the Assistant Export and Import Manager (Manufacturing) Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Assistant Export and Import Manager (Cikarang) plays a key role in the Supply Chain team's continued development and success in its Indonesia office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance in export, import, and custom clearance process of the company to keep the company’s responsibility and reputation to the authorities
• Take charge of coordinating between internal and external team for any problems related export import
• Coordinate and develop professional relationship with third party vendor
• Conduct continuous improvement in export import process to achieve operational excellence, compliance, and cost efficiency
• Develop export import team capability and to train other teams in the basic of export import knowledge
• Maintain and participate in Health Safety Environment and anticipate potential hazards in the work environment
• Coordinate with all related departments for everything that needs to be coordinated
• Ensure SOP and WI Exim are carried out properly and correctly by the EXIM team
• Ensure the custom clearance process for all goods shipped by sea or air, as well as service couriers, from the time the goods arrive at the Port of Arrival until they are received at the Warehouse
• Coordinate with the purchasing and finance departments regarding the need for purchase order documents and import tax payments, which are needed for the smooth running of the custom clearance process
• Create KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), monitor and ensure these KPIs ore achieved
• Perform continuous improvement in accordance with the vision and needs of the company

To succeed in this Assistant Export and Import Manager (Cikarang) role, you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of export and import process especially in medical devices.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years' experience as an EXIM Supervisor or a minimum of one year as an EXIM Assistant Manager
• Good knowledge about the EXIM process
• Good knowledge and experience regarding EXIM document rules and regulations
• Ability to coordinate with assistant manager or other managers from other departments and vendors
• Ability to manage relationships with customs and government institutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem - solving skills
• Strong project management skills
