Head of HSSE

The most modern logistic terminal company in Jakarta is recruiting for a Head of HSSE job. In this job, you will assist and support the terminal management in formulating HSSE policy, and facilitating and directing the HSSE activities in the terminal.

About the Head of HSSE Role:
This is a great opportunity for the Head of HSSE to redevelop group systems and processes. Your main responsibility will be to make sure the health, safety, security, and environment of the business is running well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and support terminal management in formulating HSSE policy, facilitating and directing the HSSE activities in the terminal
• Ensure that the company's HSSE contingency plans are complying with the Indonesian government’s statutory requirements
• Take full charge of the formation, deployment and management of the Terminal Emergency Response Team [ERT] in the terminal
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

To succeed in this Head of HSSE role you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of HSSE processes as well as the ability to manage external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• 15 or more years of experience in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) from port or logistics industry
• Experience with and ability to engage external stakeholders (i.e. port authorities, police, customs, surrounding neighbour, stakeholders, etc.)
• Experience with the implementation of HSSE Management System, Safety Management System, ISPS, IMO
• Certified PFSO
• Strong leadership and experience with leading a big team (i.e. safety officers, security, and emergency response team)
• Good English writing and speaking skills
