What you'll do:

As Senior Corporate Engineering Team Leader based in Jakarta’s head office site, you will play a central role in shaping the future of engineering across all manufacturing locations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing robust standards that unify approaches to design, maintenance, and asset management. You will act as the go-to technical authority for critical decisions—ensuring risks are managed effectively while supporting safe and reliable operations. Overseeing major CAPEX projects will see you reviewing designs and budgets while monitoring progress against key milestones. Your focus on asset lifecycle management will drive improvements in reliability through proactive maintenance strategies. By fostering close partnerships with stakeholders across departments and nurturing your team’s capabilities through coaching and support, you will help embed a culture of operational excellence. Success in this role means delivering consistent results that enhance safety, quality, cost efficiency—and ultimately contribute to the long-term sustainability of the organisation’s manufacturing footprint.

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve corporate engineering standards, policies, and best practices to ensure alignment across all manufacturing sites.
  • Ensure consistency in engineering design, maintenance procedures, and asset management systems throughout the organisation’s operations.
  • Act as the technical authority for major engineering decisions by providing expert guidance during escalations and risk assessments.
  • Lead and govern major capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects such as plant expansions, new facility construction, and significant infrastructure upgrades.
  • Review and approve detailed engineering designs, budgets, schedules, and execution plans to guarantee optimal outcomes for each project.
  • Monitor project delivery closely to ensure performance targets related to cost control, quality assurance, timelines, and safety compliance are consistently met.

  • 10–15 years of progressive engineering experience with at least 5–7 years spent in senior or corporate leadership roles overseeing complex operations is essential for success.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations or large-scale facilities is necessary to handle the scope of responsibility involved.
  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering standards coupled with hands-on expertise in CAPEX project management ensures effective governance over major investments.
  • Proven ability to oversee asset management systems including commissioning processes and preventive maintenance programmes is highly valued.
