Process Engineer

About the Process Engineer Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for designing the process system, simulation, troubleshooting, improvement, and collaborate with other engineering disciplines related to process engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimise the process systems: You will be responsible for designing and optimising process systems to ensure efficient and effective operations. This includes developing process flow diagrams, P&ID's, heat and mass balances, and equipment specifications
• Conduct process simulations: You will conduct process simulations using specialised software tools to model and analyse the performance of the process systems
• Manage process engineering projects: You will lead and manage process engineering projects, including developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Conduct process troubleshooting and problem-solving: You will be responsible for troubleshooting process issues and developing solutions to address any problems that arise during operations
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives: You will identify areas for improvement in the process systems and develop and implement initiatives to improve efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines: You will work closely with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation, to ensure all aspects of the process systems are integrated and functioning optimally

To succeed in this Process Engineer (LNG On Shore) role, you must have the ability to collaborate with other engineering disciplines and having deep experience in oil and gas project (upstream and LNG project).

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering or a related field
• At least 7 - 10 years of experience in process engineering in the oil and gas industry, including experience in managing a plant or production unit
• Experience in design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of oil and gas processing facilities
• Knowledge of process safety management and risk assessment methodologies
• Familiarity with international codes and standards for oil and gas production facilities, including API, ASME, and ISO
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems and develop effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with project stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory authorities
