Country Process Owner (Business Excellence)

Our client, a global leader in their field, is seeking a skilled Country Process Owner to drive local compliance, process improvements, and end-user support. This role requires a global, target-driven mindset, strong leadership, and the ability to challenge norms. What you'll do:

As a Country Process Owner (Business Excellence), you will play an integral role in upholding the integrity of our client's operations. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that all subsidiary processes align with Global Business Rules, Standard Processes, ISO procedures and regulatory requirements. You will also be tasked with maintaining subsidiary-specific training documentation. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to align Sales, Finance and Operations processes in implementing operational job-related procedures on a global scale. Your role will also involve supporting the Regional Process Owner (RPO) in creating or updating training curriculum and plans. To ensure continuous improvement within the organisation, you will perform root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous measurement. Lastly, you will conduct on-site operational compliance audits and communicate audit results to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ensure subsidiary awareness, understanding and compliance to Global Business Rules, Standard Processes, ISO procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Control and maintain subsidiary specific training documentation
  • Align Sales, Finance and Operations processes in implementing operational job related procedures globally
  • Support Regional Process Owner (RPO) in creating/updating training curriculum and training plans
  • Perform root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous measurement to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Perform on site operational compliance audits and communicate audit results including recommended corrective actions to local, regional and global stakeholders.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Country Process Owner role brings a wealth of experience in Freight Forwarding – ideally both Accounting and Operations. You have an excellent understanding of Global Processes, Rules and Procedures which you can apply effectively in your role. Your strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint will be essential for this role. You are familiar with PDF and Snagit and have excellent Cargowise application functionality knowledge. Your excellent command of the English language, both oral and written, will enable you to communicate effectively within the organisation.

  • 10+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding – ideally both Accounting and Operations
  • Good understanding of Business Process Improvement techniques such as Six Sigma
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with PDF and Snagit; Excellent Cargowise application functionality knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of oral and written English language
