Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Head of Procurement for their fast-moving consumer goods division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a category procurement team, delivering value and implementing category strategies across all API countries. The successful candidate will champion procurement as the business partner to Indonesia, driving excellent stakeholder management and promoting the sustainability change agenda in line with corporate commitments.

What you'll do:
As the Regional Head of Procurement (FMCG), you will be responsible for leading the development of category strategies that align with the overall procurement strategy. You will provide leadership to your team, enhancing procurement governance and internal compliance across your category tower. Your role will also involve enhancing strategic supplier relationships at every level across your category tower. As a country champion for Procurement, you will ensure stakeholder engagement and management with the country leadership team across all procurement categories. Your contribution to the Procurement Leadership Team will be vital in developing Procurement Strategy and Objectives.
- Develop category strategies aligned with the procurement strategy
- Deliver and implement category strategies that maximise value delivery and service reliability
- Provide leadership to and support development of the category team
- Enhance procurement governance and internal compliance across the category Tower
- Enhance strategic supplier relationships at every level across the category Tower
- Act as country champion for Procurement ensuring stakeholder engagement
- Contribute to the Procurement Leadership Team including the development of Procurement Strategy and Objectives
- Ensure suppliers comply with the Supplier Guiding Principles and requirements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a university degree or equivalent qualification, along with experience in FMCG procurement. You should have experience developing procurement category strategies across multiple geographies and functions. Experience working in a high profile public company in a multi-national environment is essential. You should also have experience leading international and multi-cultural teams, across time zones with direct and indirect reports. Advanced English proficiency is required.
