Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Process Manager to join their team in Cikarang. This role offers the opportunity to utilise your expertise in managing and coordinating group activities, with a particular focus on developing bulk manufacturing processes for new product launches. You will be working closely with various stakeholders, ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. What you'll do:

As a Quality Process Manager (FMCG), you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the activities of the group. Your main focus will be on developing bulk manufacturing processes for new product launches. You will work closely with various stakeholders including quality, production, Pilot, R&I, and the manufacturing supply chain. Your responsibilities will also include providing technical consultation to assist in bulk processing problem-solving, leading risk assessments for continuous quality improvement, carrying out improvement projects to enhance factory performance, and overseeing control testing of bulk and finished goods.

  • Act as a liaison between quality, production, Pilot, R&I, and the manufacturing supply chain during new product launches
  • Provide technical consultation to assist in bulk processing problem-solving
  • Lead and conduct study - analysis with all risk assessment for continuous quality improvement
  • Carry out and execute improvement projects to improve factory performance
  • Assist the plant in identifying preventative actions for bulk processing
  • Coordinate and oversee process optimization projects
  • Develop and conduct training programs within your area of responsibility
  • Manage sampling programs for first production approvals
  • Oversee investigations of rejected batches, validation activities, and the development of bulk manufacturing processes for new product launches
  • Support and enforce the Plant Safety, Environment, and Health Program

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Quality Process Manager (FMCG) role will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in managing manufacturing processes. You should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field, with at least 7 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment. Your strong management and supervisory skills will be crucial in coordinating group activities and leading improvement projects. A thorough understanding of quality control processes and regulatory requirements within the cosmetic industry is essential. Your ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, coupled with excellent communication skills, will enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders and ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field such as apothecary or pharmaceutical industry
  • 7+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment with preference for experience in cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries
  • Strong management and supervisory skills
  • General knowledge of the plant's quality system
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality control processes including material release, nonconformance, preventative maintenance action, document and data control, calibration processes
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the cosmetic industry including Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
