Our client is seeking a dedicated Logistics and Customer Service Asc Manager (FMCG) to lead their customer strategy in the Demand function based in Jakarta. What you'll do:

As a Logistics and Customer Service Asc Manager (FMCG), you will play a pivotal role in leading the customers' strategy in the Demand function. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading replenishment strategies, ensuring compliance with logistics regulations, enhancing service levels, and managing inventory. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product delivery while maintaining an efficient supply chain. Your ability to monitor performance metrics, oversee shipment clearance processes, and coordinate co-packing at distributors will be crucial for success in this role.

  • Lead replenishment strategy and processes by partnering with distributors to ensure orders are placed timely at the right level and timely replenishment to warehouses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant logistics regulations and provide relevant documentations required by the government.
  • Engage distributor to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead Inventory Management initiatives at distributor focusing on Inventory/SKU deep-dive analysis, SLOB/discontinued clearance.
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery of new products by meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining an efficient supply chain.
  • Work closely with Customer Development team on Atlas planning, identify inconsistencies in volume estimates based on historical trends to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor performance metrics (KPI’s) to understand service and efficiency trends and identify improvement opportunities. Shares performance information with the Team to develop collaborative approaches for improvement.
  • Oversee timely shipment clearance processes to prevent delays and minimize costs impact.
  • Coordinate and oversee co-packing at distributor.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Logistics and Customer Service Asc Manager (FMCG) role will bring a wealth of experience in customer engagement or customer service business partnering within a multinational company. You will have strong analytical skills with an understanding of financial statement impact, business insights, and perspectives. Your proactive nature will enable you to identify gaps in processes or plans and put forth recommendations backed by factual reasoning. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia are essential. A detail-oriented approach, ability to work cross-functionally, and drive for results are key attributes we are looking for.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Customer Engagement or Customer Service business partnering experience in a Multinational Company, preferably in a FMCG setup.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of Financial Statement impact, Business Insights, Business Perspective etc.
  • Proactive in highlighting & identifying gaps in our processes or plans and able to put forth recommendations with factual reasoning.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Enjoy working cross-functionally and leverage on network to drive results.
  • Detail -oriented while keeping sight of the big picture, self-driven.
