A rapidly expanding retailer company is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager (Retail) to take on a newly created role in Jakarta. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all project-related activities.

About the Senior Project Manager (Retail) Role:
Due to future expansion plans, the Senior Project Manager will play a key role in the company's continued development and success all over Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project planning including budget, timeline, team building (choosing contractor, consultant, etc.)
• Be actively involved in design development process with designer and all stakeholders
• Develop cost estimates, BOQ, equipment specification, construction material, work schedule and technical specification
• Oversee overall project from project designs, BOQ and monitoring project execution to make sure that the project goes as per plan from project initiation through completion while managing the budgets until full completion of the construction
• Monitor all working progress to ensure the quality, specifications and company standards (including SOP) are met
• Evaluate project budget, prepares cost comparison and appropriate vendors
• Prepare reports for management and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timeliness of the project
• Plan, design, manage and review construction, development, or manipulation of a physical environment for practical or creative objectives (including restaurants, buildings, landscapes, and/or other standalone property)
• Determine the best materials for each project (good quality, relevant to overall design, aligned with budget)

To succeed in this role you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of civil construction works and project management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture or other related fields
• At least five years of work experience in a Retail field is required for this position
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD tools and SketchUp
• Understands AutoCAD programmes and Microsoft Project
• Able to understand and analyse detailed drawings from interior designer
• Strong skills in project management, have good taste in design and material selection also great leadership and communication skills
• Willing to travel
