An excellent GM Factory job in Tangerang has just arisen at one of the leading ceramic tile manufacturing companies. Your main responsibility is to to ensure the manufacturing operations run smoothly to achieve the company's objectives.

About the GM Factory (Ceramic Tile) Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the manufacturing strategy, delivering the highest quality service for the customers. You will also take the lead providing direction to all manufacturing-related activities, including operations, warehouse, PPIC, engineering and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day factory operations, supply chain management, safety protocols and compliance with factory regulations. Implement efficient processes and procedures to optimise factory operational performance
• Implement strategies to enhance productivity, minimise downtime, reduce production costs and ensure compliance with industry regulations and product quality requirements
• Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts and cost control measures to ensure profitability and cost effectiveness
• Manage manpower planning and organisational structure: set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations and support employee development plans
• Ensure HSE standards are implemented and monitor safety protocols, carry out risk assessments and maintain compliance with relevant regulations
• Implement Quality Management Systems and procedures to enforce industry standards and enhance customer satisfaction
• Regulatory compliance: stay updated with local, national and international regulations related to manufacturing industry. Ensure compliance with industry, permits, licenses and certifications
• Handle planning and forecast management

To succeed in this role you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of manufacture best practices, people management and business administration.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering, operations management or related fields
• Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in a Factory Manager position in the ceramic tile industry
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent business acumen, including financial analysis, budgeting and cost control
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and agile to changing industry dynamics
• Able to communicate in English both oral and written
• Willing to be based in Tangerang
