A rapidly expanding retail company is looking for a talented candidate for a Deputy Head of Expansion (Retail) job to take on a newly created role based in Jakarta. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all expansion project-related functions

About the Deputy Head of Expansion (Retail) Role:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will lead all expansion activities and manage teams around 30 people. As the Deputy Head of Expansion, you will be in charge of new location identification, project planning and ensuring the new store opening is aligned with the procedure and company's standard.

Key responsibilities:

• Identifying new potential location to deliver good performance store
• Negotiating with the landlord for the leasing price both for existing and new
• Monitoring and evaluating new potential location
• Ensuring all the needed documents and administrations are aligned with the regulations
• Working closely with other divisions and external parties on opening new store
• Monitoring the project and budget
• Assets, CAPEX and OPEX reporting
• Ensuring the new stores are align with the company standard
• Managing good relation with all the landlords for long term partnership
• Ensuring the products readiness and setting up for new store
• Monitoring the project timeline.
• Creating new strategies and initiatives that could improve business effectiveness and efficiency

The successful Deputy Head of Expansion (Retail) is strong in negotiation, have entrepreneurial mindset and driven.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in retail expansion project/business development
• Experience in aggressive retail expansion project is preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skill
• Readiness to travel around Indonesia frequently
• Good interpersonal skill with strong business accumen
• Good communication in Bahasa and English
