A rapidly expanding beauty retailer is seeking a talented Operations Manager (Beauty Retail) based in Jakarta to take on a newly created role. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all operations-related functions.

About the Operations Manager (Beauty Retail) Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Operations Manager will play a key role in the company's continued development and success in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the company's operations
• Develop and implement operational plans and strategies aligned with the company's objectives
• Identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancement in operational processes
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and recommend corrective actions
• Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure adequate resources are available for smooth operations
• Optimise resource utilisation to minimise costs while maintaining quality standards
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement measures to enhance efficiency
• Streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and standardise procedures
• Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of employees, including hiring and training new staff
• Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members

With the ability to articulate strategy to operational teams you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless store operations, exceptional customer experiences, and the successful implementation of company strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Proven 5 - 10 years of experience in retail operations management, preferably within the beauty industry
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in using retail management software and tools
• Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences in the beauty retail sector
• Understanding of inventory management principles and techniques
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to retail environments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
