R&D Lead

A rapidly expanding F&B start-up is seeking a talented candidate for an R&D Lead job in Indonesia to be part of their growing journey. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for the end-to-end R&D process.

About the R&D Lead Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the R&D Lead will play a key role in the product development and success in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a testing process with prototypes, follow up on every step and report to technical issues to the R&D Manager
• Research, design and evaluate raw materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment
• Lead scaling up process from laboratory testing to factory and support process optimisation programmes in operations
• Enhance team competencies (hard and soft skills) and promote a positive culture within the team
• Manage product documentation

To succeed in this R&D Lead role, you have outstanding leadership skills as you will be leading an R&D team.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of four to seven years of experience in leading an R&D team in the food and beverage/FMCG category
• Significant experience in end-to-end R&D processes
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to lead, motivate and direct support staff and contractors contributing to the project
• Creative and proactive on problem solving process with scientific methodologies and consistently seek for continuous improvement activities
