GM Expansion (Retail)

A rapidly expanding F&B retailer is looking for a talented candidate for a challenging GM Expansion (Retail) job in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all expansion projects.

About the GM Expansion (Retail) Role:
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead all business development activities you will be in charge of identifying new store locations and managing leasing functions for all stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute the annual business development budget for the year, for all existing and new regions
• Achievement of new store sales budget for the year
• Identify and build new store adhering to all the requirements and approvals
• Adhere to new store capex, as well as relocation budget
• Timely renewals of all existing property lease, within budget
• Process management - timely and proper paperwork and documentation (PO/SPK) for all new projects
• Secure all statutory building permits, Licenses, K3 license, advertisement and Reklame applications for all stores
• Continuously doing process improvement and cost control

To succeed in this GM Expansion (Retail) role, you will need to be sales focused, entrepreneurial and driven.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Business, Civil Engineering (Architecture), or other relevant major with 15 years or more relevant experience and proven track record in related field of work
• Strong record of business development and project management functions for a national retail chain
• Experience establishing teams for business development into new regions is preferred
• Fluency in English
• Sales driven
• Strong communication skill
• Experience in handling big projects
