What you'll do:
As the Marketing Manager Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Food, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of iconic food brands within Indonesia’s competitive FMCG landscape. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve orchestrating strategic marketing plans that span from immediate tactical executions to visionary five-year growth strategies. You’ll champion new product launches by leveraging deep consumer insights while ensuring every initiative aligns with broader business objectives. Working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams—including sales, trade marketing, finance, agencies, and distributors—you’ll foster an environment of collaboration that drives successful outcomes across multiple channels. Your analytical acumen will be essential for tracking performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement. By guiding your team of Product Managers and Graduate Trainees towards shared goals, you’ll help deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with consumers nationwide. - Plan, monitor, implement, and evaluate comprehensive marketing initiatives at both short-term and long-term horizons to ensure sustained brand success.
- Lead new product development efforts aligned with category strategies by adopting a wide helicopter view and maintaining a strong consumer-centric approach.
- Drive new category development and food adjacency projects that contribute to global and regional growth plans while reporting on country-level performance.
- Prepare annual and five-year strategic plans that align with brand objectives and category performance targets.
- Compile management reports and conduct detailed analysis to track brand health, market share, product performance, pricing information, and overall category trends.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Trade Marketing Managers, Finance teams, Market Heads, and Zone Marketing colleagues to monitor advertising and promotional spending as well as commercial metrics such as P&L.
- Work alongside brand agencies and research partners to identify opportunities that support achievement of key brand and category KPIs.
- Support zone marketing activities by executing global research projects, advertising campaigns, new product development programmes, foodservice events, trade events, and other country-level initiatives as required.
- Guide Product/Brand Managers in delivering effective category and brand strategies through both localised tactics and regional alignment.
- Formulate channel plans in partnership with the Trade Marketing Team to drive channel growth through innovative BTL initiatives such as roadshows, in-store sampling events, mega promotions or exclusive redemption programmes.
- Manage product forecasting processes as well as inventory management responsibilities by working collaboratively with distributors’ sales teams on below-the-line activities.
- Respond promptly to all consumer enquiries related to assigned brands or categories.

- Hold a degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields from a recognised university; an MBA qualification would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrate at least twelve years of experience in similar roles within multinational FMCG companies or large local FMCG organisations; prior exposure to sauce or condiment categories is advantageous.
- Have held senior positions such as Senior Brand Manager, Category Marketing Manager or Marketing Manager with proven leadership capabilities.
- Maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies and creative partners; have led major campaigns focused on new product launches and above-the-line brand awareness initiatives.
- Possess experience in ecommerce marketing which will be considered beneficial for this position.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels; multilingual proficiency (English plus local languages) is preferred.
