A strategic leadership role shaping the future of automotive products

A leading international automotive company is looking for a Product Head (Automotive) to oversee product development, lifecycle management, and homologation strategy in Indonesia.

About the Product Head (Automotive) Role:

Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this role will drive the product planning and development strategy — ensuring alignment between global product portfolios and local market needs. You will work closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to bring new models to market successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product planning, pricing, and positioning for new and existing models

  • Manage homologation and regulatory approval processes with relevant authorities

  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor movements to inform product decisions

  • Liaise with regional and global teams on product launches and model enhancements

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to create go-to-market strategies

What we’re looking for:

A technical and strategic automotive professional with strong expertise in product development, homologation, and market analysis, able to bridge engineering and business priorities to deliver products that resonate with Indonesian customers.


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in product planning, development, or homologation within the automotive industry

  • Strong understanding of vehicle regulations, certification, and government liaison

  • Analytical mindset with a passion for innovation and customer-centric design

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills

  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
