An exciting Medical Affairs Manager (Aesthetics) job has just become available at a leading pharmaceutical MNC.
About the Medical Affairs Manager (Aesthetics) Role: Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the company in terms of medical function.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Expertise: Provide medical and scientific expertise to internal teams, including sales, marketing, and regulatory affairs. Serve as a resource for medical inquiries, product knowledge, and clinical data interpretation
Medical Strategy: Develop and implement medical strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring a strong scientific foundation for product development, launch, and lifecycle management
Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Identify and establish relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and academic experts in relevant therapeutic areas. Collaborate with KOLs to gather insights, provide medical education, and gather feedback on products
Clinical Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret clinical trial data, real-world evidence, and scientific literature to support evidence-based decisions, product claims, and communication materials
Publication Planning: Lead the planning and execution of scientific publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations for medical conferences and journals
Medical Education: Develop and deliver medical education initiatives for internal teams, external stakeholders, and healthcare professionals. This may include training programmes, workshops, webinars, and educational materials
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all medical and scientific communications, materials, and activities are compliant with relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, marketing, sales, and market access, to ensure medical alignment across all aspects of the product lifecycle
Advisory Boards: Organise and lead advisory board meetings and expert panels to gather insights, discuss medical trends, and address specific medical questions related to products
To succeed in this Medical Affairs Manager (Aesthetics) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively.
Key Requirements:
A degree in Medicine is required (M.D.). Preferably with relevant Dermatology or aesthetic experience
Five years of relevant work experience in a pharmaceutical multinational company is preferred, but not a requirement
Strong presentation skills and scientific training in Bahasa Indonesia and/or English
Candidate must have an understanding of compliance considerations and demonstrate ability to work compliantly in a field-based role, within the medical organisation, as well as across the commercial organisation
