About the Product Manager (Grinding Tool) Role: As a key member of the team, the product manager (grinding tool) will be responsible for developing strategic channels, exploring new markets, acquiring new customers, and crafting market strategies to position the company as a leader in abrasives manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets for Grinding and Cutting Tools
Identify and establish relationships with potential resellers, distributors, retailers, and other key partners to expand market reach
Actively hunt for new customer opportunities and lead generation, nurturing leads through the sales funnel to closure
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to formulate effective market penetration strategies
Collaborate with the product development team to provide insights for product enhancements and new offerings based on customer feedback and market demand
Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our Grinding and Cutting Tools
Effectively negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and the clients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market research data.
Monitor and report on industry developments, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities to senior management
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
The ideal candidate for the product manager (grinding tool) position has a strong background in managing Grinding tools, Cutting tools, or Grinding stones, along with a proven track record in business development and sales.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus
Proven track record of at least three in business development and sales roles within the abrasives, industrial tools, or related industries
Strong experience in developing channels, including resellers, distributors, and retailers, with a demonstrated ability to open and cultivate new markets
In-depth understanding of Grinding tools, Cutting tools, or Grinding stones, along with technical knowledge of their applications and benefits
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Strategic thinker with a keen market sense and the ability to analyse complex market data to drive informed decisions
Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented approach to achieving targets and exceeding expectations
Readiness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools
Readiness to work from a factory located in North Jakarta
