What you'll do:

- Draft, review, and amend complex legal documentation related to energy, natural resources, and infrastructure transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Engage proactively with regulatory frameworks pertinent to the ENRI sector by identifying practical solutions to regulatory and permitting challenges faced by clients.
- Collaborate closely with partners and lawyers across multiple jurisdictions and practice groups to manage workstreams efficiently, coordinate stakeholders effectively, and ensure timely delivery under demanding timelines.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and counterparties on day-to-day matters by maintaining clear communication channels and consistently delivering high-quality service.
- Manage client expectations regarding deadlines and project delivery while ensuring all aspects of matter management are handled responsibly.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior team members by nurturing their professional growth through supportive guidance and constructive feedback.
- Identify business development opportunities within the ENRI sector by assisting with group-wide strategies aimed at expanding the firm’s market presence.
- Engage actively with clients both during deals and outside transactional periods to build strong long-term relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
- Support end-to-end transactional processes on ENRI deals including matter management activities designed to maximise financial contribution for the firm.

- 7+ years’ experience as a corporate lawyer at a leading law firm, with exposure to project development/finance related work, upstream oil & gas, and/or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated evidence of fulfilling complex roles involving drafting documentation, managing client relationships, supervising junior staff members, and handling multifaceted transactions.
- Strong academic credentials supported by an Indonesian bar qualification (PERADI); an overseas master’s degree would be considered advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to guide junior colleagues through collaborative mentorship while embodying supportive leadership qualities that encourage professional growth within the team.
- Exceptional organisational skills enabling effective management of multiple workstreams under tight deadlines without compromising quality or attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial mindset paired with sound commercial acumen allowing you to identify new business opportunities aligned with the firm’s strategic priorities.
- Clear understanding of law firm economics coupled with insight into how individual contributions support broader organisational goals.
