We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate specialising in M&A and Capital Markets to join the dynamic team.

As a Senior Associate in the M&A - Capital Markets practice, you will play a pivotal role in advising high-profile clients on complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, bond issuances, rights offerings, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with partners and lead teams to deliver strategic legal advice while fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting agreements, and negotiating deal terms.
• Advise clients on capital market transactions such as IPOs, bond issuances, rights issues, and other equity-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, including stock exchange requirements and securities laws.
• Structure complex deals involving cross-border elements
• Draft and review transaction documents such as share purchase agreements, prospectuses, underwriting agreements, and offering circulars.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities (e.g., OJK) and stock exchanges (e.g., IDX).
• Mentor junior associates and contribute to their professional development.
• Stay updated on legal developments in corporate law and capital markets to provide cutting-edge advice to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in M&A and Capital Markets at a leading law firm.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, securities regulations, and stock exchange requirements.
• Proven track record of handling high-value transactions independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English.
