Our client is seeking a talented Mid-Associate with 5-6 years of experience in banking, finance, projects, and energy law to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in providing strategic legal advice and support to clients across a wide range of transactions and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex financing transactions, project finance deals, and energy-related transactions from inception to completion.

What you'll do:
As a Mid-Associate Financing & Projects, your role will be multifaceted. You will lead complex financing transactions from start to finish while ensuring all legal aspects are meticulously handled. Your expertise in banking, finance, projects, and energy law will be crucial in advising clients on regulatory compliance matters. You will also build strong relationships with clients by providing strategic legal advice tailored to their business objectives. Furthermore, you will collaborate effectively with partners, senior attorneys, and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
- Lead and manage complex financing transactions, project finance deals, and energy-related transactions from inception to completion.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents including loan agreements, security documents, project contracts, and energy/power supply agreements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence reviews and risk assessments to identify legal issues and develop effective strategies for risk mitigation.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters pertaining to banking, finance, projects, and energy sectors.
- Represent clients in regulatory proceedings and negotiations with regulatory authorities as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing strategic legal advice tailored to their business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and solutions to complex legal challenges in the banking, finance, projects, and energy sectors.
- Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to the expansion of the firm's client base.
- Collaborate effectively with partners, senior attorneys, and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions and exceptional client service.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates and legal staff to support their professional development and growth.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited law school.
- 5-6 years of experience practising law in banking, finance, projects, and energy sectors.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation skills.
