One of the global law firms in Indonesia is currently recruiting for an attractive Foreign Counsel (International Affiliated Law Firm) job to support their Jakarta office. This role is open for expatriates who have working experience in the Indonesia legal environment.

About the Foreign Counsel (International Affiliated Law Firm) Role:
As a member of this market leading practice, you will have an opportunity to work on leading general corporate lawyer deals and work with a highly regarded general corporate practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to demonstrate an imaginative and commercial approach
• Excellent corporate and commercial legal drafting skills
• Leadership and supervision of junior team members
• Proactive engagement with clients both on and off deal with a view towards building and maintaining strong client relationships

To succeed in this Foreign Counsel (International Affiliated Law Firm) role, you should be experienced in project finance and have a good understanding in the areas of projects, infrastructure, and natural resources.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 13 years' experience in UK/US/Europe or 15 years' experience in Asia pacific as a lawyer in a global reputation law firm
• Readiness to be relocated in Jakarta
• Experience in projects finance with particular focus on oil and gas, mining, power and energy (conventional and renewable), toll road, water, and other infrastructure
• Experience in representing both the private side and the government side
• Deep knowledge in the areas of projects, infrastructure, and natural resources
• Deep knowledge on the general corporate commercial contracts
• Excellent analytical skills – you will need to analyse how Indonesian and non-Indonesian regulations and be comfortable with changing regulatory landscape
• Driven and ambitious attitude
