  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the automotive industry, providing timely analysis and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the organisation in meetings, forums, and discussions with government agencies such as the Ministry of Transportation, ensuring effective communication and advocacy on behalf of the company.

  • A minimum of eight years’ proven experience working in government relations or public affairs roles within the automotive sector is essential for success in this position.
  • Bridging good relationship in associations (GAIKINDO, GIAAM, IATO, etc), Government Office (MOI, MOT, MOEF, BSKJI, BKPM, MOE, ESDM, DGT, etc) and Non Government Office and to support permit, approval & certification process.
  • Leverage your established network within government agencies and the automotive sector to drive impactful policy initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance across all business operations.
  • Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop strategies that strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical abilities allowing you to interpret complex legislation or policy documents quickly while identifying potential impacts on business operations.
  • Experience coordinating multi-departmental responses to government requests.
  • Proven track record organising events or workshops aimed at enhancing relationships between private sector organisations and governmental bodies.
