What you'll do:

• Oversee all legal matters related to the daily operations of the company, ensuring that every aspect of business activity aligns with current laws and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with external legal counsels to coordinate their work quality and ensure seamless integration of external advice into internal processes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal and commercial documents including EPCIC contracts, operational agreements, lease agreements, gas sale agreements, sales and purchase agreements, and more.
• Design and implement comprehensive guidelines and policies for business contract processes to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk throughout the organisation.
• Deliver engaging training sessions to colleagues on business contract procedures, fostering greater awareness of compliance requirements across departments.
• Provide timely and practical legal advice on diverse issues affecting the company’s interests, supporting stakeholders in making informed decisions.
• Manage corporate secretarial tasks such as maintaining statutory records, preparing board resolutions, and ensuring regulatory filings are completed accurately.
• Participate actively in dispute resolution processes including litigation management, early case analysis, evaluating alternative dispute resolution techniques, coordinating with external counsel, negotiating settlements, and drafting settlement agreements.
• Monitor compliance management systems to ensure robust governance frameworks are maintained throughout all levels of operation.
