What you'll do:

As Legal Director, you will take ownership of all aspects of legal risk management for the Indonesian business. Your day-to-day activities will involve providing thoughtful counsel on regulatory matters, overseeing contract negotiations, managing disputes efficiently, and building trusted relationships across departments. • Proven track record of managing complex legal portfolios encompassing regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, litigation management, intellectual property protection, and corporate governance.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships with colleagues at all levels as well as external stakeholders such as regulators or industry associations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example—nurturing talent within your team through mentoring, constructive feedback, and encouragement of professional development.
• Strong analytical abilities combined with sound judgement when interpreting legislation or assessing business risks in ambiguous situations.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with fluency in English (and Bahasa Indonesia preferred), allowing you to explain intricate legal concepts clearly to non-specialists.
• Experience designing or delivering training programmes on compliance topics is highly desirable.
