Legal Counsel

A well-established pharmaceutical company in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel who excels in a dynamic work setting.

About the Legal Counsel role:
As Legal Counsel in the pharmaceutical sector, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range agreements, while providing legal advice on matters related to healthcare regulations, product licensing, marketing practices, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and regulatory advice to the company.
• Monitor and communicate legal and regulatory updates.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts and legal documents.
• Manage business licenses and liaise with authorities.
• Advise on business initiatives to mitigate legal risks.
• Manage business licenses and liaise with authorities.
• Handle corporate secretarial duties and documentation.
• Experienced in litigation.
• Support and coordinate legal disputes and compliance.
• Handle compliance investigation.
• Respond to policy-related queries from distributors/employees.
• Produce reports and ensure policy alignment with global standards.
• Support new policy implementation and special programs (e.g., Higher Award Tracking and Verification).

To succeed in this Legal Counsel role, you should have significant experience in end-to-end legal in-house role including licensing requirements and approvals in pharmaceutical sector.

Required Knowledge & Skills and/or Related Experience:

• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to understand key internal and external drivers that affect the business, including political and industry trends. Experience in a direct selling environment desired.
• Experience with contract administration or enforcement processes.
• Licensed (PERADI)
