What you'll do:

As a Legal Manager and ESG based in Cirebon, your role will be multifaceted. You will provide crucial support to the business in Indonesia by advising on a wide array of legal and compliance matters. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you navigate complex issues such as third-party risk management, data protection, employment law, consumer law, corporate affairs, among others. You will also play a key role in maintaining compliance matrices and dashboards for review by the Regional Governance, Risk, and Compliance Committee and Board of Directors. Your ability to network effectively within the legal fraternity will be invaluable as you represent the company at associations and forums.

• Advise on a broad range of legal and compliance matters including third party risk management, educational programs, commercial engagements with healthcare professionals, data protection and privacy matters, employment law, consumer law, corporate affairs, regulations governing medical device industry.
• Be an effective business partner advising on day-to-day business transactions.
• Maintain compliance matrices and dashboards for review by the Regional Governance, Risk, and Compliance Committee and Board of Directors.
• Network actively in the legal and compliance fraternity.
• Bring knowledge of industry best practices to advise on commercial activities.
• Localise regional initiatives for Third Party Risk Management Programme in Indonesia.
• Develop, conduct, organise compliance training in policies, standards, SOPs.
• Support cascading the Data Protection and Privacy Programme in Indonesia.
• Lead risk management and business continuity plan.

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Legal Manager and ESG role, you bring a wealth of experience to the table. With 9-11 years of experience in corporate law or family business, you have honed your skills in negotiating contracts and loan documents, as well as preparing corporate legal documents like SH resolution. Your interest in Environmental Social Governance (ESG) is a key asset, as is your ability to gather information from various teams for ESG reporting and policy implementation. Your leadership qualities shine through in your ability to work seamlessly with others while driving your own workstreams. Furthermore, your knowledge of environmental / building permit procedures and ability to localise regional initiatives for Third Party Risk Management Programme will be invaluable in this role.

• 9-11 years experience in corporate law or family business.
