What you'll do:

As a (Senior) Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the legal framework of our client's operations. Your expertise in contract management will be crucial in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of contracts. You will also be responsible for identifying potential legal risks associated with business operations and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks. Your advisory role will involve providing strategic legal advice to senior leadership on various aspects such as business transactions, market entry, project execution, among others. Furthermore, your insights on property management activities will be invaluable in ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic objectives and comply with applicable laws
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations and contracts
• Develop and implement compliance programs to meet local and international legal requirements
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership on business transactions, market entry, and project execution
• Offer legal insights on property management activities, including tenant relations, facility management, and renovations
• Oversee pre-litigation and litigation matters, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions

What you bring:

(Senior) Legal Counsel is a demanding role that requires a unique set of skills. You bring along a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B), while a Master’s degree or additional legal certification would be highly regarded. Your 5-10 years of experience in a multinational company or law firm ideally exposes you to the property management or hospitality sectors. Your strong expertise in contract management and risk mitigation coupled with your knowledge of Indonesian property, labor, and regulatory laws makes you an ideal candidate for this role. Your exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, along with your strong communication and negotiation skills, will be crucial in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
