Dyno Nobel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Manager to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a function that is seen as a real partner to the business, providing exposure to practical challenges requiring both legal knowledge and commercial acumen. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and play a crucial role in growing the business.

What you'll do:
As a Legal Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all legal aspects of the company are managed effectively. You will draft contracts with various stakeholders, handle contract negotiations, provide legal opinions on various issues, and maintain business license issues and registrations. Your ability to demonstrate readiness to work in the South Jakarta area will be key for success in this role.
- Draft contracts with vendors, customers, and all business partners and/or third parties
- Handle all cases (mostly contract negotiations) within the company
- Provide legal opinions to other departments regarding any issues related to legal matters
- Maintain business license issues and registrations of the company in Indonesia
- Demonstrate readiness to work in the South Jakarta area
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Legal Manager position will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in law, specifically with at least 10 years' experience as a lawyer or corporate in-house legal practitioner. You should have an understanding of and interest in commercial law, sound commercial acumen, and strong business-partnering skills. Your ability to challenge results, provide solutions, and form justifiable assumptions for the business will be crucial.
- Bachelor of Laws from a reputable university and a minimum of 10 years' experience as a lawyer and/or a corporate in-house legal practitioner
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and an interest in commercial law
- Sound commercial acumen with the ability to challenge results, provide solutions, and form justifiable assumptions for the business
- Strong business-partnering skills
