About the Country Legal Counsel Role:
As the Country Legal Counsel, you will report to the Country Head and play a vital role in leading the legal department in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice to the management in various legal issues and ensuring the company is aligned with laws and regulations
• Manage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholder to achieve the company's objectives
• Ensure strict compliance with legal requirements in all company activities to safeguard the company's interests
• Develop, implement, and provide socialisation of company's code of conduct
• Provide integrity training and take necessary action for integrity related issues
• Offer legal expertise to provide certainty in protection, indemnity, and legal exposure during business operations
• Handle and manage legal matters related to commercial, procurement, and other matters
• Ensure all permits and licenses are obtained and valid for business operations

To excel in this role, you will need to have experience in working independently with strong problem solving skills.

Key Requirements:

• 7 - 15 years of experience in legal, preferably with B2B multinational background
• Able to work independently as a sole contributor
• Good stakeholder management and a solutions-oriented person
• Firm with strong integrity to implement ethics and compliance
• Critical thinker with good decision making abilities
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective planning and strategic thinking abilities
