About the Senior Legal Counsel Role:
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will report directly to the Legal Director based in Jakarta and undertake the key responsibilities below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage legal dossiers and operations by coordinating relations with internal departments and external counsels
• Provide expert legal advice to operational and functional departments across all aspects of Business Law
• Enhance legal security and compliance through document reporting, managing authorisations, and upholding compulsory standards
• Skillfully negotiate and draft various legal documents, including internal and external contracts such as commercial, property, industrial, and information systems agreements
• Oversee litigations and transactions, collaborating with relevant departments and external counsels to navigate pre-litigation, litigation, trials, and transactions
• Foster awareness of Group best practices, particularly in legal matters, within operational and functional departments
• Develop a deep understanding of brands, products, markets, and related legal intricacies
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients to facilitate awareness and appropriate responses to legal issues
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and internal norms to provide timely and pertinent advice
• Ensure proper implementation of laws and regulations to safeguard business interests
• Contribute to internal control initiatives, ensuring operational compliance and raising awareness of critical areas
• Display active listening and analytical skills to diagnose situations accurately
• Propose alternative solutions that align with business requirements
• Provide clear and simplified explanations to efficiently advise and facilitate decision-making

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a top-tier university

• Excellent communication skills and strong analytical acumen
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively
