About the Country Legal Counsel Role:
The Country Legal Counsel will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the legal department, provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, negotiate, and secure corporate transactions
• Review contract requirements and ensure adherence to company and country regulations
• Provide legal advice on large scale projects, multi-million USD contracts and related documentation but not limited to products sales
• Perform regular reviews and audits of team processes in order to find and reduce risk
• Provide regulatory and compliance advice, and be a motivator and energiser for a strong culture of integrity and compliance in the company

To succeed in this Country Legal Counsel role, you should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of legal knowledge and expertise in the business environment.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a minimum of 10 years' experience as a corporate lawyer at a reputable private practice firm or in-house legal counsel
• Competence as a lawyer
• High personal integrity and commitment, strong communication and negotiation skills, independent and solution-oriented working style
• Outstanding in drafting and negotiating the commercial contract.
• Good in managing various stakeholders expectation
