Legal Counsel

A Legal Counsel job has now opened up at one of multinational mining services companies in Jakarta.

About the Legal Counsel Role:
In a legal function seen as a real partner to the business, this is a great chance to gain exposure to practical challenges requiring both legal knowledge and commercial acumen. You will be reporting to Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft contracts with vendor, customer and all business partner and/or third parties
• Handle all cases (mostly contracts negotiation) in the company
• Provide legal opinion to other departments regarding any issue related to legal
• Maintain business license issues and registrations of the company in Indonesia
• Willing to work in the South Jakarta area

To succeed in this Legal Counsel role, you must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to grow the business.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws from reputable university and a minimum of five years' experience as a lawyer and/or a corporate in-house legal practitioner
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and an interest in commercial legal
• Sound commercial acumen with the ability to challenge results, provide solution and form justifiable assumptions for the business
• Strong business partnering skills
