About the (Senior) Legal & Compliance Manager - Fintech Role:
As the (Senior) Legal & Compliance Manager - Fintech, you will work closely and support the Head of Legal & Compliance to look after the legal function within the company and monitor the compliance to ensure business activities adhere to the latest regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure regulatory compliance by staying up-to-date with financial regulations
• Ensure business operations adhere to all relevant laws and obtain necessary licenses
• Work collaboratively across stakeholders to look after end to end on partnerships arrangements, new product launches, licensing and compliance matters, government relations and all other strategic legal matters
• Support strategic partnerships to support the company's growth and expansion
• Take the lead in general corporate matters, including taking necessary corporate actions, oversee contract management, and resolving disputes
• Manage data privacy matters, ensuring that the company complies with all relevant data protection regulations
• Work closely with multiple departments, including finance, compliance, and business development, to provide legal expertise and support in alignment with company goals
• Build and lead a high-performing legal team to support the company's growth and ensure all legal requirements are met
• Be responsible for the general meeting of shareholders, annual reports, presentations, press releases and media monitoring
• Assist Head of Legal and Compliance in monitoring of set internal standards and controls
• Support Head of Legal and Compliance to conduct a regular compliance gap analysis of internal controls to ensure compliance with various applicable laws
• Create a recommendation and implement remedial actions according to the analysis
• Support the Head of Legal and Compliance to manage and/or contribute to various projects including addressing requests for information, gap, and other assessments
• Provide compliance guidance for all initiatives, projects, and engagements of internal and external parties and act as a role model for the proper conduct for other business areas

To succeed in this (Senior) Legal & Compliance Manager - Fintech role, you will need strong industry background and proven track record in fintech compliance matters.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of legal experience with a strong background in financial services or financial technology
• Master's degree in law or a related field is advantageous
• Prior experience in the financial technology sector is a major advantage
• Strong network within regulatory body is major advantage
• Previous experience in liaising with OJK, Bappepti, PPATK, and BI is major advantage
• Critical thinker and able to work independently is a must
