What you'll do:
As Country Human Resources Manager based in Jakarta, your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around facilitating strategic people planning solutions alongside country management teams. You will handle daily HR matters such as recruitment, onboarding and exit processes, performance management, compensation and benefits administration. Your role involves driving group HR programmes locally while updating information in key systems like DarwinBox. You will participate in transformation projects aimed at enhancing HR effectiveness across the business. Employee engagement is at the heart of your remit; you will coordinate learning and development activities to ensure high standards are maintained. By working closely with leaders across functions you will provide expert consultation on retention strategies. - Act as a facilitator and enabler by providing strategic and operational human resource advice to reinforce positive company culture and drive organisational development.
- Ensure alignment of country HR strategies with group-wide frameworks and initiatives, developing local plans that best position the business for growth.
- Oversee the localisation of group policies, guaranteeing integrity in local HR process implementation and full compliance with company standards.
- Regularly review and roll out HR policies, employment procedures, and ensure adherence to evolving local labour laws.
- Manage all core HR departmental areas including payroll, employee relations, administration, learning and development, recruitment, engagement, and maintaining HR systems.
- Provide guidance to the HR team on work priorities such as payroll management, budgeting, staff resources, strategies, policies, and organisational matters.
- Serve as a trusted partner, coach, and mentor to managers on people-related issues while driving employer branding initiatives within local customs.
- Support employee engagement activities, talent reviews, performance management processes using globally agreed frameworks and tools.
- Champion excellence throughout the employment lifecycle by ensuring a positive experience for all employees from recruitment through offboarding.
- Collaborate with leaders to provide HR consultation when designing and implementing employee retention strategies.
