This pivotal role offers you the chance to work closely with senior leadership, including the Country Managing Director and Commercial Leadership Team, while also connecting with employees at every level. You will play a key part in translating regional priorities into practical local actions that drive organisational success, ensuring strong governance and disciplined talent management. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a matrix environment, values collaboration, and is passionate about shaping meaningful people experiences. • • Serve as the trusted HR partner for Indonesia, collaborating directly with senior leaders to align people practices with strategic business goals and ensure effective workforce decisions.
  • • Utilise data-driven insights to identify opportunities and risks, translating these findings into actionable plans that enhance performance and support organisational growth.
  • • Champion employee experience by driving engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives that create a cohesive and supportive workplace culture across all levels of the organisation.

What you'll do:

As an HR Business Partner based in Jakarta, you will be entrusted with significant responsibility for shaping the organisation’s people agenda locally while aligning it with regional objectives. Your day-to-day activities will involve close partnership with senior leaders to ensure that all HR practices support business goals. You will use your analytical skills to interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations that drive performance improvements. By implementing regional initiatives at a local level, you will help maintain consistency across markets while adapting solutions to meet specific country needs. Your expertise in organisational design will be crucial when leading change projects or restructuring efforts. Additionally, you will oversee essential HR processes such as salary reviews and talent assessments while managing sensitive employee relations matters discreetly. Building trust across all levels of the organisation is central to this role; you will act as a connector between leadership teams and employees while championing programmes that promote engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and belonging. Your insights into Indonesia’s workforce landscape will inform both local actions and broader regional strategies.

  • Act as the accountable HR partner for Indonesia by ensuring all people practices and workforce decisions are aligned with organisational objectives and long-term strategy.
  • Leverage data analytics to generate insights that inform business decisions, proactively identifying both opportunities for improvement and potential risks within the workforce.
  • Provide thoughtful coaching and guidance to leaders and stakeholders using best practices in people management to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Implement regional people initiatives at the local level, guaranteeing consistent execution of workforce plans and alignment with broader organisational priorities.
  • Lead organisational design efforts by orchestrating reshaping initiatives compliantly while minimising disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with leaders to embed robust performance management and talent development frameworks that nurture growth at every level of the organisation.
  • Oversee regular HR cycles such as salary reviews, talent assessments, performance evaluations, and engagement surveys to maintain high standards of fairness and transparency.
  • Advise on succession planning and professional development by identifying talent needs and designing programmes that build team capability for future success.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases with sensitivity, aiming to minimise legal, reputational, or cultural risks while upholding company values.
  • Build trusted relationships throughout the organisation by acting as a credible advisor, coach, and connector between leadership teams and employees.
  • Champion initiatives focused on employee experience, engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, belonging, and fostering a strong workplace culture.
  • Serve as the go-to expert on Indonesia’s workforce landscape by sharing local insights with regional and global teams to shape effective people strategies.
