GENERAL MANAGER HUMAN RESOURCES A leading Indonesian group operating in a highly regulated, science-driven industry with national manufacturing, R&D, and commercial operations. What you'll do:

The General Manager, Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for translating HR strategy into strong operational execution across the organisation.

This role reporting to the HR Director and business leaders to ensure people, leadership, culture, and systems are aligned with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and long-term capability building. The GM HR leads the end-to-end HR function operationally and acts as the key integrator between strategy, governance, and frontline execution.

  • Translate group HR strategy into clear operational priorities, programs, and outcomes.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders across manufacturing, R&D, commercial, and corporate functions.

  • Align workforce planning, organisation design, and capability development with business growth and transformation.

  • Drive leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential programs.

  • Strengthen management capability, performance culture, and accountability across all levels.

  • Oversee end-to-end talent processes including workforce planning, talent reviews, performance management, and employee engagement.

  • Embed a performance-driven, ethical, and compliant culture aligned with corporate values and regulatory expectations.


What you bring:

Your background as General Manager Human Resources should reflect substantial experience in steering HR functions within large-scale organisations, ideally those subject to rigorous regulatory oversight. You bring not only technical expertise but also genuine warmth in your interactions; your interpersonal skills allow you to connect meaningfully with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Having led transformation projects before, you understand what it takes to guide teams through periods of change while keeping them engaged.

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, chemicals, FMCG, or similar.

  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour law, industrial relations, and compliance frameworks.

  • Proven track record in organisation development, leadership development, and performance management.

  • Experience leading large, multi-site HR operations and complex stakeholder environments.

  • Strong executive presence, sound judgment, and high integrity.
